Weather Fax Frequency list

European WeFax Table

This table contains frequencies of weather fax emitting stations. The stations mentioned here are the most important of the stations in Europe. My source is the WMO 'World Facsimile Broadcasts' publication.

I'd like to get feedback, if you were successful receiving weatherfaxes please let me know. I'd like to know the time, your location and station you received.

Some remarks about the above table:

• It is not complete, there are stations and frequencies missing
• The emitters are generally quite weak (5-10 kW) and send into a target area (north sea, atlantic, mediterranean). Sitting in Geneva I can only hear Bracknell on 8040 (30kW) reliably.
• The time and emission tables are very inexhaustive. Most stations emit around the clock, but I am too lazy to type in several pages per station to hold the complete schedule. So I just picked the most interesting emissions (weather forcasts).
